Paving Refurbishment

Block paving refurbishment is a process that can have amazing results if done correctly.

Just read these steps to see what we do to ensure your paving keeps looking like new.

Step 1. We pre-treat the paving first with fungicidal wash/weedkiller and then the area would be cleaned with a professional rotary headed pressure washer. This easily removes any dirt and removes moss and lichen from the joints of the block paving.

Step 2. Once the surface has been allowed to dry we then sweep fresh kiln dried sand into the joints of the paving to stabilise the blocks and stop any weed growth developing between the joints.

Step 3. We then seal the surface using a two coat application of Smartseal high quality sealer. By sealing the paving we are ensuring that it gets maximum protection from any loss of colour or staining in the furture. By applying block paving sealer you will be getting the additional benefit of ensuring the jointing sand becomes solid to restrict further moss and weed growth.
